T.V. and YouTube
Idol is becoming very very very boring to me, which makes me sad as hell. Am I finally getting sick of it after 7 seasons? WTF is going on?!?!
On the other hand, I love love love Hell's Kitchen kuz those people are super entertaining. Nuff said.
I also love Girls Next Door, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Life in the Fab Lane (with Kimora Lee Simmons), annnnnd....
JON & KATE PLUS 8!!!
Omg I can watch these shows for hours (especially since I can't watch them during the week.) I have to stop this obsession.
Also, I am addicted to a few YouTube channels...pursebuzz being one of them. She seems like such a nice person!
Okay well that was a lame-ass blog. Maybe later I will blog about weddings and babies and stuff. Then again, a lot of things are still up in the air so I don't want anyone to get overly anxious or anything...okay I've said too much.
WEDDING IN VEGAS!!! ;)

UPDATES!!!
Anyway, got back from New York last week...Brien and I had an awesome time. It was the best trip we ever had! I think it was just so relaxing (and we got to spend lots of time with Em!). Highlights from the trip were 1) seeing Em 2) eating (coney island!) 3) MoMA & Guggenheim 4) getting to spend the whole week together 5) RENT! (for me) 6) Arizona Sweet Tea (for me! haha) 7) buying labbit....ahh that was about it. It was just being in Jew York (haha) that was funtastic! I can't wait to go back!
So yah it took me almost all of last week to adjust to Hawaii time. (I'm really bad at this traveling stuff.) So only now I'm starting to get back into a "groove"...not that I have anything to do, anyways...bleh. This means that I still have no job and pretty un-motivated to go and get one...
In other news, Brien and I now have a nephew! Yaaay! We are so excited! Brien's sister, who lives in Florida with her husband, just delivered a healthy baby boy named Noah. Sooooo I'm actually Aunty Cheryl now, like, FORREAL. LOL. Ah, I always felt like an aunty but now I am officially so yay! So I went shopping for baby boy clothes last week, which was fun fun fun but really stressful since I've never gone baby clothes shopping before. I was literally sweating in the store! And all the baby boy clothes are so gay! Baby GAP-gay, Gymboree-gay. I was getting so discouraged until I stumbled upon The Children's Place, which sounds lame (to me), but I bought so much stuff! And it was cheap, too! And it was cool kuz I actually had a purpose to be in there, not just go "awwww so cute!" at all the little clothes. Haha I'm weird. Anyway, we won't be able to see him til like...mayyybe next year. So yah a little anti-climatic, sorry.
So yah that's pretty much all that's going on right now. Apparently JJ has a blog, too, so hopefully she'll give us a link soon. :)
Okay well I'm gonna try go to sleep now even though I had my first Starbucks in months and am really buzzed. Speaking of buzzed...I read this beauty blog called www.pursebuzz.com and it's awesome! If you ever need a random online read...toodles!

Spicy Garlic Shrimp with Coconut Rice...and other stuff
If any of you care, here's a link to the recipe.
Other than that, I'm still anxiously waiting for my package from Coastal Scents. Not sure what it is? You'll find out when I get my package and post a blog about it. Hehe. (Although you can probably already assume that it has to do with makeup...) I think it should be coming tomorrow.
In other news, this weekend is my Dad's birthday so we're doing like a 2-day celebration. Tomorrow I'm going to dinner at Yanagi Sushi and meeting his girlfriend -_- for the first time. Then we're gonna go watch Olomana play at Hilton Hawaiian Village like I did with Brenda a couple of weeks ago. Then on Saturday we're going to Alan Wong's Pineapple Room, which I'm excited about since I've never been there. The menu doesn't look as great as his King St. restaurant one, but there are similarities...I'd still rather go to the REAL restaurant, though, haha.
Okay well I'm gonna go wash dishes now. Have a great day!
PS I won't give up on Rachael jusssst yet because of Emily. Jeez I am so weak.

Crap Lasagna Casserole :(
I tried buying whole milk ricotta cheese annnnd I grated my own parmigiano reggiano. Did I spell that right? Oh well.
Anyway, it was not that great, considering the amount of work put into it. I'd rather mix cooked pasta with bottled sauce and top it with cheese and bake it...
It's not even worth posting the recipe, but I just wanted to say that I don't think I'll be making anything from her ever again. I watch her show all the time and I guess I got suckered into her recipes that look good, but probably don't taste all that good. I think I'm going to stick with cooking blogs...
Okay well I'm watching Idol Gives Back and Annie Lennox is crying...so sad.
Bath & Body Works!
Anyway, I ordered this last week Wednesday, I believe, and it came this afternoon. Here's a list of what I got:
12 Anti-Bacterial Deep Cleansing Hand Soaps (in no particular order):
- Enchanted Orchid (New Scent!)
- Mango Mandarin (Lovvve this one!)
- Pink Grapefruit
- Freshwater Cucumber
- Sun-Ripened Raspberry (Never thought I'd like this one so much...)
- Cucumber Melon (A staple, of course)
- Sea Island Cotton
- Tropical Passionfruit
- Sweet Pea
- Coconut Lime Verbena
- Wild Honeysuckle
- Kitchen Lemon (for Brien, who loves lemons...)
I also got some of the new Anti-Bacterial Hand Foaming Sanitizers kuz they were on sale. I got 2 Cucumber Melons, Sweet Pea, and Midnight Pomegranate.
And last but not least, I got 3 Liplicious Lipglosses, all sheer, in Grape Soda, Pineapple Juice, and Limeade. I tried on the Limeade one just now and it's amazing! It's not super sticky like MAC Lipglasses and the taste is sooo good! This one tastes like Green River, which I just found out is served at Jurison's Inn in Waikele :) Yay! Nostalgic beverage!
Phew! That was a lot of stuff, huh? Well, the total didn't come out to that much. The soaps were only $3.33 each and I stocked up for an entire year. :) Now when I go on my trip to New York I won't have to worry about bringing all of this stuff back. Super convenient...I think I'm gonna keep doing this until we get a Bath & Body Works here.
Can't wait 'til the rest of my bathroom soap runs out... :)
And can't wait til my box from Coastal Scents comes as well...
