So I made this recipe for the second time today (from Simply Recipes) and it came out just as I remembered it. I'm going to tweak it for the 3rd time I make it because there are still some things that I'm just not satisfied with. It has good potential, though...and with or without tweaking, Brien says that this is the BEST thing that I've made so far and he could eat it everyday. (Psh...whatever, right?)

Other than that, I'm still anxiously waiting for my package from Coastal Scents. Not sure what it is? You'll find out when I get my package and post a blog about it. Hehe. (Although you can probably already assume that it has to do with makeup...) I think it should be coming tomorrow.
In other news, this weekend is my Dad's birthday so we're doing like a 2-day celebration. Tomorrow I'm going to dinner at Yanagi Sushi and meeting his girlfriend -_- for the first time. Then we're gonna go watch Olomana play at Hilton Hawaiian Village like I did with Brenda a couple of weeks ago. Then on Saturday we're going to Alan Wong's Pineapple Room, which I'm excited about since I've never been there. The menu doesn't look as great as his King St. restaurant one, but there are similarities...I'd still rather go to the REAL restaurant, though, haha.
